Provided daily cybersecurity and technical support to employees, troubleshooting hardware, software, and network security issues, ensuring secure system operations. Installed, configured, and maintained security patches and updates for software applications, ensuring compliance with licensing and cybersecurity best practices.

Implemented and managed data backup and recovery solutions to mitigate the risk of data breaches and loss. Conducted cybersecurity awareness training for employees, educating them on secure system usage, phishing prevention, and data protection strategies.

Maintained comprehensive security documentation, including system configurations, incident reports, and vulnerability assessments for management review. Led bi-monthly digital security training sessions for the New Myanmar Foundation, training 25+ community leaders and activists per session on cybersecurity, secure communication, and digital literacy best practices.

As a founding member and business development executive, I am responsible for the growth of our business. I also have the responsibility of engaging with professionals in the education sector. The Green Hackers Institute started to help bridge the gap between undergraduate students and technological and computer universities in Myanmar with the funds of the sole donor. We helped over 500 students to achieve their goals. Unfortunately, in the COVID pandemic and coup that happened in 2021, we decided to stop.

I studied for a Bachelor of Physics at Yangon University, Myanmar, from 2002 to 2005. But honestly, I don’t really remember much about physics — it’s been so long that I’m starting to wonder if I studied it in a parallel universe. 

I do remember the big names, though — legends like Einstein, Paul Dirac, Erwin Schrödinger, and Niels Bohr. At least their names stuck, even if the equations didn’t! 😄
